Guidelines for good science PR
The “Guidelines for good science PR” were created in February 2016 as a result of the inter-institutional working group “Siggen Circle”.
The Siggen Circle was established at the initiative of Wissenschaft im Dialog and the Bundesverband Hochschulkommunikation. At the annual meeting at Gut Siggen in Holstein, representatives from science PR, science and science journalism debate key topics and trends, opportunities and challenges in science communication.
The results of these discussions are summarized in the “Siggener Impulse” (Siggener Incentives). As part of these incentives, the guidelines for good science communication constitute specific recommendations for people involved in institutional science communication
Wissenschaft im Dialog advocates for quality-controlled science communication and is committed to working according to these guidelines.
